OUR MISSION:
CAPS is dedicated to enriching the educational lives of AUSD students by providing grants to Atascadero public school teachers through fundraising and donations.
CAPS was formed in 2007 to help provide teachers in the Atascadero Unified School District the extra financial support needed to offer important educational resources not otherwise available due to District budget restrictions.
We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization comprised of parents, educators, retired teachers, and community members. CAPS grants have funded Field Trips, Musical Instruments, Marching Band Uniforms, Photo Book Projects, Battle of the Books, iPads, Pottery Wheel, Science Equipment, Outdoor Learning Options during COVID, Coding Software, and so much more.
With the help of our generous donors and supporters, we will continue our mission of enhancing the educational experience and opportunities of our public school students.
